The Alliance of Assassins

Describe a famous criminal organization and the unlawful acts they commit in your world.
The Alliance of Assassins
This criminal organization was founded in the year 2081 as an underground espionage group during the War. The Mobian government needed people with special skills to infiltrate the Anti-Mobian military and steal information from them. The task to find these people was given to General Wilde Reddfox (pronounced Vilt Reddfox). This general decided to turn to hardened criminals to get the job done, as he knew that non-criminal citizens would object to this operation's goals. The original ten Alliance members' names are not known, but it is known that they were all serving life sentences at the time of enlistment. Apparently, if they took the offer, their life sentences would be replaced with lesser sentences, if they survived, that is. Obviously, all ten people took up the offer, and their sentences were lessened. Before being sent to Anti-Mobius, they had to be trained by some of the most battle-hardened military people in the world. Needless to say, it was hard, but after a grueling five months, it was complete.   The original Alliance of Assassins was comprised of seven men and three women, all of which were experienced in the art of undetectable crime. They were loaded onto a spaceship and sent away to Anti-Mobius, in the hopes that they could transmit some useful info back home. The journey to Anti-Mobius took about three days, and they were met with little opposition upon landing. The ship landed in an abandoned and mostly destroyed city. Upon opening the door, they were greeted by a soldier, who looked like he'd been serving for at least a few months. This soldier was native to Mobius-2, as signified by his uniform. He had been sent ahead of the Alliance as a sort of 'briefer' e.g, the person to update them about the current situation. He gave each of them very important information about the weak points of the Anti-Mobian military and where the best place to infiltrate was. After his little infodump, he mounted his motorcycle, drove away, and was never seen again. It would be natural to assume that he perished in the war, but in fact, he made it home safe and sound in the year 2090.   The Mobian government had supplied the Alliance with many weapons to choose from. Swords, guns, grenades, smoke bombs, you name it, they had it. The Alliance went on a six-month-long rampage across the planet, collecting and transmitting information as they went. They served their superiors well and were allowed to return home in 2082. From that day onward, the members of the Alliance of Assassins decided to stay joined up and create their own crime group. The government currently has no idea that they are still in operation. As far as they're concerned, the original ten have gone their separate ways and created a normal life. The Alliance deals in illegal weapons, drugs, corruption, espionage, and of course assassination. At the moment, there are 5,000 Alliance members from all across the world. Whenever the Alliance finishes up a crime, they leave a marking of their crest somewhere nearby. To the outside world, it is unknown who this crest belongs to or where it came from. The current leader of the Alliance is a man who goes by the name of Red Eye. He is a descendent of one of the original ten, and handles his organization very well.
The Alliance of Assassins is a criminal organization that was once a vital part of the Interplanetary War.

Amazing origin story for your criminal organization. It makes me want to learn more about the war and what kind of government would go to such lengths to ensure they would win. How do people contact the Alliance if they want to use their services?

Hey there! Thanks for checking out my article. I'm going to be honest here, I haven't thought of a contact method for the Alliance. If you had any cool ideas I'm down for it. As for why the government went to such an extreme to defeat Anti-Mobius, it's simple, really. The Anti-Mobian government launched a strike against Mobius-2 (hence the 'anti' part of the name), and all heck broke loose. General Wilde decided that the fastest way to get this over with was to get people who weren't against the idea of killing innocents, and send em to the opposing planet to lend a helping hand. And that's pretty much the gist of it. If you need more information, just ask!

And I'm sure the Mobian government acted like their hands were clean of the innocent blood!

Well yes. The government isn't corrupt by any meaning of the word, but when your entire planet is being threatened by nuclear annihilation, I'm pretty sure you'd be willing to send your best to stop that from happening.
