The Ardent-Grissos
The Ardent Grissos are the most respected among patrollers, because of the harsh climate of the area where they work. Indeed, the Eastern Desert does not spare travelers in light clothes, and so soldiers in light armor have it even worse. It takes courage to engage in this battalion, and it is said that its soldiers are among the most robust of all Menicea.
Although wildlife is scarce in the desert, smugglers and highwaymen leave no respite to unprotected merchants, forcing the patrol to redouble their efforts to hunt and protect the road. Naturally, the axis between Nélandra and Irisport is very coveted by thieves, because it is used by caravans transporting exported and imported goods to the rest of the world worth a fortune for some.
Fortunately for the patrollers, four barracks await them on the road to refresh and rest. Travelers also take the opportunity to replenish water and food against a few claws and also offer some excellent meals to the soldiers if they agree to accompany them for the rest of the trip. They rarely refuse, enjoying the company in the vast sandy desert.
The Ardent-Grissos is also the only Territorial Patrols to have its own uniform, adapted to the unique climate they shine in.
