The planet of Mündis is a gentle world at the surface. With its two moons, Aneama and Infis, it does not rest alone in the free space that exist between all planes of elements and axioms. Looking deeper, one could see that only the northern half the world is populated by civilized, intelligent creatures, while to the south rests thousands of miles of remnants of kingdoms and empires long past. Packed into the northern side of the world are great empires that have lasted for centuries or have just risen to power within the last few generations. A lot of history hides beneath these nations and an even greater, darker history lies far in the past.   Where most nations reside is in Ordenion, a land found east to an insurmountable mountain range known as the Blinding Divide. In Ordenion, the climates are moderate and a great number of mountains keep kingdoms and empires from each other, but maintains a sort of peace between them. Ordenion is a continent given foundation by a council of elder dragons who brought up the many folk from the shadows of a vile age and gave their place on Mündis a far greater standing, and much has triumphed from that philanthropic vision. Ordenion has become a land known for its many legendary individuals from great warlords and scientists, to mages and saints. This place is never left without at least one extraordinary figure per generation. Though Ordenion is a continent filled with the bold and the many, it has yet to reach further than its own shores.   To the west of the Blinding Divide is Matha'naem. This continent is much flatter than its eastern counterpart with an unforgiving desert, a forever spanning plain, and a wasteland ruled by the legions of the undying laid barren by eons of unending marches; a long lived scar on the maps of the living. The locations in this land are fewer, strangely, even with so much flat space. One of the most populated regions in Math'naem is set on the edges of the great red desert, Al'Ahmar, a collective of peoples that have changed very little in their long spanning history yet they remain just as relevant as their Ordenion cousins. To the south of this desert is a coastline which is the cradle for a handful of the most wealthy and powerful settlements that keep an order across the entirety of the commonwealth as well as holding a site of an ages old library that holds enough literature to keep even a long lived individual occupied for the entirety of their life. Far from the desert is the Necropolis. This land has been held by the forces of the undead since very early on in Mündis' history, led by a god-like necromancer known as Valon'rook who has been the enemy of the gods and has been the greatest threat to life itself since the very moment of his creation. Many armies have fallen to end "the Rook's" tyranny of fear only to join among his ranks as a skeletal warrior or zombie.   In the remaining parts of Mündis exist lands mostly untouched by civilized hands for thousands of years. A collection of continents who have no name or known past, only fragments of kingdoms and nations that have laid buried in ruin. A collection of lands ripe for exploration and adventure for those who dare to travel. A collection of lands who may hold some of the deepest secrets that Mündis could have to its name.
