Miya

Magic is commonly wielded by Magia, a class of shamans who use their magical powers to heal and help the people of Miya. They occasionally have to use their magic in battle, often in battles against the Shorei, a group of former Magia who chose to use their magic for harm and pain. Becoming a Magia requires at least six years of dedicated studies, and those with proficient magical levels are automatically chosen to attend Mairyi Academy, one of the only neutral Magia academies in the world (each nation has its own Magia academy as well, of course). The people of Miya look to the Magia for guidance and protection. But who do the Magia look to when they need protection?
