Paradisum

Paradisum is the great, endless realm beyond the World and above the cosmos where the souls of Men who followed the commandments of Jeger Almáttugur (God the Father) are rewarded for their faith in the Eternal Father. Paradisum is the name used by the peoples of Mirydain to describe Heaven, where the souls of the faithful dwell in eternal peace.

Geography

Paradisum is described as a perpetually lush country whose ocean is the vault of space and time. The country is made up of rolling hills, mountains bearing trees that never wither, and a river of pure water that is never tainted. The light in the open country always appears to be dawn, but this is only so because the light of Paradisum is the light of Jeger Almáttugur, and the closer one is to the light, the more like day it becomes.   When the souls of virtuous Men arrive in Paradisum, they come to the river and follow it to the Kingdom of Eternal Life, which is one large city of made up of several small kingdoms where the faithful to Jeger reside. Before the city is the Door of Peace; a gate of purest gold set on a wall forged by lightning and mortared with fire, on which is inscribed, “Rejoice and be glad, for great is the reward thou hast earned”. In and around the Kingdoms are the Aniolr (the celestial beings who serve Jeger), who praise the High King-Above-the-Heavens with joy and gladness.   The First Kingdom of Paradisum is where souls whose virtue was charity reside. Benefactors wear garments of white and happily exchange gifts “crafted from compassion and tempered with love.”   The Second Kingdom is where the contemplatives reside, sitting at a feast but eating only a small amount of food. This feast is said to be as long as every age of the World until the day when the Second Creation is made.   The Third Kingdom is where lovers; the faithful and the chaste, go upon death. Here, the souls of those who were loyal to those they love and abstained from excessive sexual acts dwell together in joy and bliss with no fear of losing each other.   The Fourth Kingdom is the residing place of Men who lived and died for the High King-Above-the-Heavens. They are warriors of the faith, who served diligently on the Earth in the name of Jeger Almáttugur.   The Fifth Kingdom is the resting place for those who were just, such as just kings and leaders, and also the humble and the wise. The souls of the just are dressed in robes and adorned with crowns as signs of their understanding and how they wisely used their gifts for the glory of the Eternal Father.   In the Sixth Kingdom of Paradisum, the souls whose virtue was peace dwell in a vast field where all is filled with joy and music.   The Seventh Kingdom is the resting place of the supplicants: Men who were humble in life. These souls dwell together in a vast hall of gold and jasper worthy of kings and here, they display virtue and gentility to one another.   At the heart of Paradisum stands the Eternal Throne, which is the residing place of Jeger Almáttugur, the High King-Above-the-Heavens. Seated at the High King's right side is Jesu Eilsar, the Eternal Savior, and with them is the Eternal Light which fills all things with knowledge and life. The Aniolr circle above the throne and raise their praise to the High King-Above-the-Heavens.
