Elves
The Elves are a legendary race of beings who dwell in the forests of Mirydain. The chief dwelling of the Elves is Trädvellir, the largest forest in the country, but they also live in the forests of Elmwood, Cedarheim, and Greenlawn. The Elves live in house-like holes under the roots of trees while Elf rulers dwell in palaces below the canopies. The palace of Aspenshir is the home of the Elf Lords of Trädvellir, to whom the Elves of Mirydain all pledge their loyalty.

Male and female Elves share pleasures and responsibilities as neither gender is held higher than the other. However, Elf men handle affairs such as fighting and forging as the Elves believe that adding live to conflicts only worsens situations.

They court each other for around a year, after which the youth asks the maiden if she will marry him. If the maiden agrees, the wedding is held within seven days.

However, some do have doubts about trusting humans as the motral kings in Mirydain were not all good rulers. However, when David McKay and Ginny Langford came to Mirydain, the Elf-lord Eldaran rallied a force of over 8,000 Elf soldiers and sent them to Gonnarch to join the army against the Dark King and his plan of total conquest. After the Dark King’s defeat at Kailion, the Elves promised to stand as allies to the Crown of Mirydain.
