They mostly live in the mountains of Isjernfeld, but they also live in the White Mountains, the Aurminjid, and the Emerald Peaks. The Dwarves dwell in villages nestled in the mountains and toil in their underground mines for the treasure that supplies them with necessities and pleasures.

Dwarves are conceived through natural contact and are born within half a year of their conception.

Dwarves are typically able to walk and talk around the second year of their lives. They are taught to navigate mines from the time they can walk, then are taught reading and writing beginning at age five. At age ten, they are taught how to hunt for food and how to defend themselves. At age twenty-one, Dwarves reach their coming of age and reach their proper height at age thirty.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Dwarves hunt for food in their mountain homes, usually for wild goats and deer, but they also trade some of their treasure to the lands of Elves and Men for food. Dwarves preserve food within their mines and brew strong drinks such as beer, ale, and mead.

History
The Dwarves have lived in Mirydain since they first left the outside world and came to the land. They are a surly but good-natured folk and while they are fond of their treasures, they also desire to live in freedom and peace. Their desire to live free drove them to stand against the Dark King with David McKay and Ginny Langford, and 7,000 of them joined the Army of the Crown to fight. After the Dark King was defeated, the Dwarf clans agreed to stand as allies to the Crown of Mirydain.
