Calidurn

Calidurn is one of the lands of Men in the magical land of Mirydain. It is the easternmost province of Men in Mirydain and home to the Men of the East.

Geography

Calidurn is mostly a desert land with a single river flowing to the sea. A few oases are in this area and the country is dotted with sandy hills and the Red Mountains to the west, separating Calidurn from Anglor.

Fauna & Flora

The animals that dwell in Calidurn include jackals, serpents, falcons, and hawks. Date trees and fig trees grow in this area as well as desert grasses and palm trees grow near the oases of the land.

Natural Resources

Water is the primary natural resource for the province of Calidurn as well as date and fig trees, which provide food for the Men who inhabit Calidurn.
