The First City
The First City is sometimes called the City of Enoch. The little information about the legendary city is taken from the Book of Nod by Noddist scholars. Further information about the First City comes from a tiny collection of vase shards and tablet fragments found mainly in the Middle East, which attracted the attention of Noddists.
The myths surrounding the First City differ, ranging from a bloody hell where a tyrant ruled to a vampire utopia where the second and third generation lived in peace before the Flood washed over the earth. An exact location of the city has not yet been determined, but brave wanderers, including the Black Hand, have at least found an image of the city in the Shadow Lands.
Known Geographic Features
If one assumes that the city in the Shadow Lands is a replica of the First City, a few peculiarities stand out. Kainite scholars all over the world are gathering this knowledge and are still trying to create an accurate map of Enoch. If the city is the legendary First City or not, the wonders of the few who have visited it are mentioning sound impressive:
- Statues of the Antediluvians, the Second Generation and Caine, supposedly created by Arikel
- An extensive library, supposedly created by Brujah
- Streets and Buildings, made of black and red marble, supposedly created by Ventru
- The Pool of Zillah, which is said to grant visions of the future for those looking into them
The wanderers talk about a dozen or more of these wonders, but the ones mentioned here are for sure the most impressing.
