Hit Dice
You get your first hit die for free via the Attributes you have distributed. As the chronicle progresses, you can spend experience points to buy more hit dice. These will still be tied to the size of your previous Hit Die and, like the first one, will benefit from your Stamina bonus.
The cost of your Hit Dice increases the more you already have and the larger the size of your Hit Dice. A d10 is therefore more expensive than a d6.
To calculate the cost in experience points, multiply the number of your previous hit dice by the side number of the dice. Multiply the result by 10.
To make things simpler, I have a list with dice cost:
Hit Die | Cost |
---|---|
d6 | Current x60 |
d8 | Current x80 |
d10 | Current x100 |
d12 | Current x120 |
d20 | Current x200 |
When you buy a new hit die, you will always get the maximum number of hit points your die can generate + your Stamina modifier.
