Personal history

Sarotia is born inside the Rane family, she was the firstborn of Marcus Rane and his wife Mariana Rane. Two years after her birth she became the big sister of Maison Rane.

Sarotia is a direct descendant of the first Necromancer Haghor Rane. Her father was during her childhood the leader of the Negromanti Coven. A group that focused itself purely on Necromancer magic. But after his death, she took over the role as leader.
Maison Rane got married to another Necromancer inside the coven Brenda. Sarotia didn't like the woman, but she respected her brother's choice. Two years in their marriage, little Nora was born. Making Sarotia an aunt. A role she didn't like to play, so she kept her distance from the young family. For over ten years. But then her brother was killed in a car accident. Nora was also in the car with him, but by some force unknown to Sarotia, Nora survived it. After what happened to her brother, Sarotia took up the role as aunt and drill sergeant to Nora. Train her to be the best Necromancer inside the coven.
O, and she is married to Owen Alure. A man she those not care for.

Education

Sarotia was taught like all the children inside the coven, how to handle their magic. The practiced on dead animals at first, before moving on to humans.

Employment

Sarotia is the current leader of the Negromanti coven. Her duties are keeping an eye on everybody inside the coven. And some duty she has added is to teach her niece.

She likes to be obeyed by everybody, and she loves the power she wields. She hates to know that she is not immortal, and dislikes wizards who hunt her coven and her sister-in-law Brenda.
