Palace of The Dragon King Jordir
Purpose / Function
The castle is the home of the Dragon King and his/her family. Also, it is the place were the Dragon King held his/her Court of the Dragon King. It is the working station of the Secretary of the Dragon King.
Alterations
The castle was build right after the Age of the Dragon Lords began, at first it was just a castle. Water for baths needed to heated up in a special room. There was no electricity and no enverment control. The rooms were stuffy and small.
But as soon the times started to change the castle started to change with it. The room where the bathwater was heated up is now chanced in an indoor pool. It still holds heated water but this time it is for entertainment. There is now electric light and automatic heating and airco system in place. Now some rooms are made bigger and are cleaned on a regular basis. At the first floor of the castle there is a large office that offers place for the Secretary of the Dragon King.
Architecture
Garden

The garden of the palace is not that large just 4 acres (16187.43m²). The garden is divided in small rooms, that hold different themes. There were also a view of fountains inside the garden. The plants and flowers inside the gardens are all from Mirror World, and maybe some out of the Human realm. All the rooms are blocked off with hedge or ivy plants. The tiling inside the rooms are all different, hence on the theme of the room. The favorite garden room of the Dragon King is the rose garden. With a fountain that looks like a giant rose in bloom.
The halls
The halls inside the palace are all look the same, and it is easy to get lost in them. If you do not know the way. The floors are tiled with black, green and white marble tiles lined in a simple patron. The windows are high, and it has royal blue curtains on the side. The walls are painted with a soft blue gray color. There are some oil painting on the wall, but they aren't many. Every painting has a light wooden list, and that list is listed with light wooden bars. Those lists can be found all over the halls, with wooden artwork in them. Between the windows there are vases with various flower arrangements in them. The arrangements are changed every week so that the halls always smell like fresh flowers. The doors that lead to the rooms were made out of dark wood.

Ballroom

The ballroom is a large room on the second floor of the palace. The room has the same color scheme as in the hallways. Only here the floor is made out of wood, instead of the marble tiles that are laying in the hallway. The ceiling is painted with a mural, that depicted a dragon flying through the skies. In the middle there hangs a great crystal candler. On the walls there are hanging torches, that only are light when there is a ball. They are not light with fire, but with a fire bulb that looks like fire. There is a small podium at the end of the ballroom, that is were the orchestra sits. Behind that is another higher podium for the King and his/her family.
Bedroom
The bedrooms all look the same, at least the rooms that are meant for the guests. Nobody except the personal that cleans the rooms of the Dragon King knows how his/her room looks like. On the floor there lays wood, and even the walls are covered with the same material. The bed is a queen size, with white sheets and pillows. There lay a light gray sheet on the end of the bed. Above the bed hangs a lamp made out of special cloth. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, which is covered with white and gray tiles. The bathroom has a water closet, a bath and shower. The bedroom and bathroom are divided by a walk in closet, complete with a make-up table and vault.

Defenses
Although the palace is at the edge of the capital Novapolis, the palace and its garden are surrounded by a large thick wall. With metal spikes on the top of it. Those spikes are magical enhanced, so if there is a spell cast against the wall it bounces back to the caster. Or the spikes grow when somebody that is not authorized flies over them. This is why the Dragon Prince Nikero Tagwhisk always takes the front gate, just in case. The same goes for when people try to dig their way under the wall, then the wall sinks to the tunnel. The wall can do all of this at the same time, and this is the reason that it is never being breached.
