General Summary

- Roth then asks the sphinx if he could help them out of the pyramid. The sphinx is then happy to let them leave, casting fly and letting them fly out the top where they sphinx seemed to enter and edit.
- The party thanks the sphinx for the meal, Scarlett, Ari, and John. Merry and the golem Tim just fly away. Roth returns to the sphinx, asking for its name. The sphinx seems amused and tells Roth his name is Tarats.
- The party flies down the outside of the pyramid, Roth taking a little damage from getting too close to head the larger pyramid radiates. Ari performed acrobatic tricks while flying down, and fell after the spell ended a few feet.
- Jared is surprised to see the party flying from the sky, and that they seemed to be all right, and it only took them three days to get what they were looking for.
- Since it is only mid-afternoon, the party decides to head back to town, and they will stop by to see the druid.

- The first night, Roth and Ari saw a meteor shower to the north that lasted about an hour.

- At night, Merry sees a pair of feline ears peeking over the dune looking at her. She turns invisible and wanders out to investigate. She sees a lioness and 3 lion cubs walking away from where the party was camped. The rest of the night was quiet.

- The night was quiet, though Ross thought he saw some wolves prowling around in the shadows.
- When the spell for the magical dome is dropped, the party is attacked by 5 two headed demon dogs.
- Merry, Roth and Scarlett kill the 1st dog, but no before Baeshra, Roth and Merry get bit and are "poisoned." Baeshra then turns into a giant snapping turtle, and casts a fire spell that hits two of the demon dogs.
- Tim the Golem gets the camels away from the demon dogs, and then kills one with its stone sword. The remaining dog tries to flee, but Scarlett casts Guiding Bolt to kill it.
- Baeshra and Roth roast and try the demon dog, which Roth does not like and found bitter, but Baeshra found very tasty.
- The party journeys across the dessert toward the druid's cactus garden, the dwarf named Sunmeadow.
- Baeshra is offered some cactus juice as refreshment, and the party bargins with Sunmeadow to buy some of the juice. Scarlett and Roth gave him 2 mummy heads to fertilize his garden, and so each got a vial of cactus juice. Baeshra offers Sunmeadow the blue egg, which Sunmeadow is thinks is an ostrich, basalisk, or dragon, and he believes the egg is petrified. Baeshra then offers him some herbs, including mint, red poppy, garlic and a thistle. The druid is thrilled with these offerings, and gives Baeshra two helpings of the cactus juice. He puts all 3 in his waterskin.
- Jared, Tim and John do not ask for any cactus juice.
- When asked how to make the cactus juice, Sunmeadow tells Baeshra it is a mix of 3 Cacti (Prickly Pear, Saguaro, and Parodia), boiled down, distilled, with magic powder added. He refused to tell the party what is in the magic powder and does not like the idea of selling his juice or it making more people visit him.

- The party arrives in the oasis for the night, resting in the areas set up by the well in the center of the greenery.
- The night was quiet, though Ari and Ross see a small white flower bloom on the vine at night in the lifht of the almost full moon (one day past). Ari draws the flowers to show to Baeshra the next day.

- The night was quiet, though Scarlett, Roth and Ari smell an odd incense on the breeze. Roth sends Branwen flies up to circle and look for what is going on, and sees what appears to be a campfire very far in the distance.

- The night was quiet, almost without sound and wind, eerily so.

- Roth sees an obelisk off the path about 300 ft, which he does not remember from the way to the pyramid, and Jared the guide does not recognize. Branwen circles above it, and see the 8ft tall, 4 sided pieces of stone (?) has the elvish number 12 carved at the top of all 4 sides.
- Ari, Baeshra, Roth, Scarlett and Merry go to investigate while the rest wait with the camels. Baeshra bets with Merry about Ari being the first one killed. After a lot of investigation, the obelisk is not magical, and does not seem to have an traps on it, and when magic was used to dig down, no further writing was revealed.
- Jared says there is a ruin a day or two travel from here, and the sand is always shifting, hiding and revealing items.

- The night was quiet, during Roth's watch, he saw a flash of red light in the direction of the obelisk, he did not investigate.

- At night, the party stops in the oasis with the small lake and Ari, Scarlett and Baeshra take a bath. After dinner Ari cleans the camels with prestidigitation. Jared wants to learn this magic, so Ari works to teach him an instrument so he can learn the spell.
- The rest of the party then plays their instruments before the evening rest.

- The party sees the standing stones it remembers and explores on the way to the pyramids. They do not stop to explore them again.

- The night was quiet, during Scarlett's watch, she saw some odd firelight in the way far distance.

- The party comes to the edge of a large dune and Roth sees a small tornado of fire, which he promptly ran off his camel, and hid, gesturing to the party to prepare for a fight.
- The fire elemental then charges in, setting Ari on fire and almost killing a camel. Merry manages to send it away during her turn with Dissonant Whisper.
- The camel was healed and Ari and Baeshra caught on fire, and put out again, by Scarlett. The fire elemental kept getting sent away, preventing a lot of damage. Ari and Scarlett where able to keep the camels safe and not on fire.
- Ari kept dealing cold damage and Roth got the kill with a longbow shot.

Rewards Granted
Tasted Demon Dog, was not yummy, except Baeshra, The Cactus Druid gave some cactus juice to Baeshra, Roth and Scarlett
