Feast of The First Moon

The Feast of The First Moon is a celebration that takes place every year on the first full moon of the year.   The festival consists mainly of dances and balls that can take place either in halls, taverns or an open field in a village. In Pearlhal , it is not unheard of that in sections of the city, the people dance in the streets.    Many of these dances and balls were sponsored by the royal family.
Hello , Have you seen Maximus and Mircea they are behind their schdule?
  • Two guards asking  Blacksmith Felix who points out in the middle of the crowd were two confused guards are being danced with.
  • During the festival, it had in the last 100 years become a tradition to dye one's hair in a crazy colour, like blue or red/orange.   Cuisine that had become commonly associated with the festival included barbecued meats, mostly game meat, juices, and alcoholic beverages. However, this differed from where the festival occurred in the empire, as some areas might eat fish or roast chickens instead.     In some parts of the empire, people would late at night, when the dancing had tired people, gather around and tell tales of famous ancestors and of the gods until such stories would merge and become legends. People would gather to hear about lost cities and past heroes.

    History

The Feast of The First Moon is an old tradition that began in a small village where some of the population were Moon elves. , and these had brought the idea of celebrating the first full moon of the new year with them. The humans in the village embraced the idea as it was a good way to celebrate the new year, but it also brought the local community closer together.   Over the years, it spread from the small village, and by the late 4th century B.I.C and over the years, lots of food had been associated with the festival.
