Seizure of the Server of Minecraftia

Era beginning/end

After the Invasion of Stockholm, all of Markus's assets are seized, including the computer that holds all the data for the server of Minecraftia. Notch, knowing his presence on the server is at an end, chooses Steve to be his successor.

The Seizure of Minecraftia's server was an event in the physical world that happened shortly after Herobrine's invasion of Stockholm during Year 681, in which the Mojang's office computers were hacked by Herobrine and used as a portal between Minecraftia and Earth to bring his army of mobs through. After the invasion had been stopped by Steve and Alex, and the two and Herobrine returned to the virtual world of Minecraftia, Markus Persson, who had been residing in the US at the time, became the subject of a huge investigation by the FBI once it came out that Herobrine and his army had originated from a server on Markus's computer. His belongings were seized, and the server of Minecraftia came to be in the possession of the US government, who saw the learning potential in leaving the server running. This, of course, meant that Markus could no longer monitor the server, and so he gave Notch the order to find a successor before Notch would be put to sleep. Notch would choose Steve and leave two of his administrators to temper the hero for his upcoming deification. After Steve became the Patron of Minecraftia, Notch was disabled for good. From Year 685 onwards, Minecraftia is under the watchful eye of the US government, where the life within is observed to learn about artificial intelligence and how it adapts and evolves over time. The server rarely faces large-scale interference from outside sources and is contained on computers that can fully contain the massive processing power that it requires.
