Diamond War

A war that broke out between the humans during a financial crisis. Each of the four factions were at war with each other, excluding the Redstone Engineer faction and the Builder faction, which were allied for most of the war. This was the peak of the dark ages of humanity as intolerance towards each other was the norm.

Emeralds were being hoarded by each faction, in order to not go bankrupt.

Outcome

The economy was in ruins.

Aftermath

The warrior faction became acknowledged by the other factions as a dangerous rival. The faction segregation had officially begun.

This war took place during the 1.9 Combat Update.

The warrior faction held out the most, until the other factions teamed up to wear them out, forcing the warrior faction to sign a peace treaty.

Ironically, the Diamond War did not start because of a shortage of diamonds. Rather, it started because of a shortage of emeralds as currency, so the factions started using diamonds as currency. It was also the one war where diamond armor and weapons were used, as the warrior faction had a bustling supply of them, giving them a great advantage in the war.
