Deities of Mindosza

The Pantheon

The Pantheon of Mindosza is split into The Titans and The Assembly. The Titans are a Group of Primal Deities associated with the other planets in the Sky (see Astronomy) and have created Mindosza. Following The Elemental Principle, these Titans represent opposing Forces but eventually realized, that the Titan of Death, Szanaru, the End [CN] was missing a foe. Therefore, many millenia ago, they came together in the first Convergence and created Mindosza, forever binding it to Szanaru.

Aeons later, once Mindosza had developed from a primal hellscape to finally support life, the first Denizens were faced with another Convergence. Having never experienced this phenomenon, most of them were utterly unprepared and only just managed to flee into the Havens. Being isolated from the Titans they used to worship, and facing the reality that the Titans may be responsible for the convergence, these people turned away from the Titans, instead looking for strength and comfort in the New Gods. This Assembly protected and cared for the denizens in these dark hours and helped them realize, that no Titan would safe or protect them.

Different Views

The main difference between the Titans and Assembly are how involved they are in life on Mindosza. While the Titans created life and taught it the first steps, they are also quite detached and are not looking to interject much. As beings of primordial power, they do not squabble with day to day needs and prayers. That is to say, they will grant divine powers to Priests and Champions looking to fight for their cause, however that cause is often much more wide in it's defintion. Their followers therefore quite often find their own interpretation of their deities' will.

On the other hand, the Gods of the Assembly have been created by the sheer will and desperation of people, so it is in their very nature to care for and listen to the woe's of their worshippers. Some of these New Gods are said to have been mortals before ascending to godhood, while others were created out of thin air, simply by the prayers of their flock. They do not shy away from the everyday dealings on Mindosza and sometimes even appear in the flesh to fight for their cause. This was also the downfall of two of these Gods, as their physical bodies were mangled and tortured until they finally buckled and broke, turning mad.

(PF2E) Not all of Pathfinders Domains are covered by these Deities, a select few are missing. If you are interested in a Deity, but would like to incorporate a certain Domain, please approach the Dungeonmaster (/PF2E)
