Far to the east sector of the Milky Way, lies Yusul' Foraam, the first planet to be populated by the human race after the end of the Celestial War. After humanity was freed from the Celestials control, it was given a few unpopulated planets so that they could reproduce and prosper, despite humanity's inherent fragility as a species. Since the planet is located in an area where several other habitable planets are located in, the humans in Yusul' Foraam have has an explosive amount of technological development, with the aid of other species, becoming a rather advanced planet.

Geography

Being a planet located in its system's habitable zone, Yusul' Foraam shares many of its traits with Earth, such as regular climate. Most of its surface is covered by oceans and the terrain is very diverse, having immense mountains, plains, ice fields, volcanos and many other terrain types found on Earth. Due to its large size, the planet takes 116 Earth hours to rotate around itself, which makes day and night on the planet to last for much longer. Yusul' Foraam has four great continents and a few other, smaller islands. The four continents are:

• Ibenak, to the North

• Bakamort, the desert continent to the west

• Suland, to the south

• Walgebet, to the east.

Yusul' Foraam, just like Earth, has a very high rate of biodiversity, and as such, there are several types of animals and plants, living in the most varied habitats.

Flora

The plant life of the planet is pretty similar to earth, however, there are several animal species that differs drastically to their earthling counterparts, due to the difference in evolutional path according to different necessities. For instance, while on earth there are no carnivore plants that pose a threat to human life, due to those differences, in Yusul' Foraam there carnivore plants that could swallow a whole adult human. The plants have also adapted differently due to the fact that days and nights are much longer on this planet, so their photosynthesis process is different than those of Earth.

Fauna

The plant life of Yusul' Foraam may be very similar to Earth's, however, when it comes to animal life, things get different. A lot more different. Some species may even resemble a few of Earth's animals at their core characteristics, but when it comes to functionality and adaptation its possible to see that they are definitely not alike at all. There are several vicious beasts roaming the lands of the planet, such as giant wolves that can tear small houses apart, or basilisks that can turn a man into a stone statue.

Natural Resources

The world of Yusul' Foraam is teeming with valuable resources. It's on this planet that one can find the rare and outstanding mineral called Illyrium. This mineral is a black, volatile type of metal that is considered to be one of the most resistant materials to exist in the Milky Way, therefore, its extraction and is a very lucrative business. The largest company that extracts illyrium is called the Techno - Khan Industries. Most of the people that are interested in buying the illyrium seek to build weapons with the famous mineral that supposedly never breaks.
The planet has a large number of rivers, which makes water a rather abundant resource, however, the planet lacks fossil fuels, so oil and natural gas are quite scarce (One of the reasons Techno - Khan is so powerful is because they were the first company to build electricity-based vehicles). Due to a large number of rivers, the main method of energy production is hydroelectric energy, being closely followed by nuclear and solar energy.

History

Thousands of years ago existed an alien race so powerful that their empire threatened to dominate the whole galaxy and its species. That race was called Zerutar. In order to stop them from conquering and enslaving all the other planets and races, an alliance was forged. Races from all over the galaxy joined forces in order to stand against the empire and its extremely advanced technology. The Zerutar had created a new, powerless and featureless race called "Humanity" so that they could serve as test subjects. It is speculated that it was through the use of humanity as lab rats that they were able to advance so much of their technology level in so little time.

As the alliance battled against the empire, it was clear that not even the mighty Zerutar Empire could stand against all of the races of the Milky Way combined. So they lost the war... And got completely destroyed to the brink of extinction.

After the conflict ended, humanity was masterless and with nowhere to go. So the races that composed the Alliance gave them a planet to call their home: This planet was called Yusul' Foraam, the first home of humanity.

The Conquest

Thousands of years have passed ever since the end of the Celestial war, and humanity's acquired freedom. However, about three hundred years ago, mankind's first home planet was invaded by a political and military group called "The Order of Ethernia", a fearsome organization that has influence across all of the eastern sector of the Milky Way. In little time, the organization was able to subdue the planet's nations and rendered the military basically powerless. In order to avoid imminent destruction, the governments of Yusul' Foraam stepped out, and surrendered the power to Ethernia, On this day, Yusul' Foraam became a puppet state to Ethernia.

The reasons for the invasion are not yet clear, for Yusul' Foraam is not an extraordinary planet or a threat in any known way. Some speculate that it has something to do with the large quantities of Illyrium that can be found on the planet's surface, the theory is credited by the fact that even though Ethernia is now the one pulling the strings, they did not confiscate the population or the extractivist companies from their belongings. Rather, Ethernia has recently made efforts to get into the companies "good side", by actually offering to help them with technology to increase productivity. One such group is the most powerful extractivist company: Techno - Khan Industries.
