    Scrawl's band joined Falth
    Population Migration / Travel

A rag-tag group of Wild Gryphons under the leadership of Scrawl, agreed to join Falth for the prospect of mutual help in defeating the Air dragons.   This union was not accepted without its own host of problems. A few days later, Falth decided to ease the rising tensions by elevating Scrawl on the position of secondary Clawmaster to help maintain the larger flock.

    First contact
    Diplomatic action

Herald of Falth's forces, Maara, travelled to Yriinth Tonitruum, demanding the Air dragons to surrender all but their territory except for Three Talon Peaks and Throth's mountain to avoid further bloodshed. This would reduce dragons territory by half. Yriinth refused but allowed Maara to leave. This was the first diplomatic contact between the two forces and served Falth as means of learning the identity of his foe.   Upon her return the next day, Falth elevated Maara to a position of a Third Clawmaster for her bravery, though this promotion was seen by some as an act of personal affection.

    First Volunteering reform
    Population Migration / Travel

Despite not having the approval from the Queen or other Advisors, Yriinth started conscripting willing males into the ranks of her army. The sudden influx of displaced Air dragons who lost their home served to bolster her ranks, as many were willing to join the professional Clawstoppers in exchange for a place to stay, food, or simply desire for revenge and reclaiming their lost land.   Vraeth, Clawstopper of royal forces issued the untrained dragons to join groups of trained ones, so that they can learn the basics of aerial and ground combat.   Due to the circumstances, Yriinth attempted an even bolder reform. In her latest message, she asked the Queen for the approval to also conscript and train any dragoness willing to fight for her homeland.

    Scrawl's Raiders
    Military action

Scrawl's forces travelled west, pillaging any draconic encampments while their leader tested his newfound powers. The most notable was defacement and collapsing of Basilisk's Throw, temple east of Tyrth's lake. Scrawl unleashed a forceful barrier that collapsed the structure and injured its priestess.   A minor camp was established here for additional food supplies for Night Hawks main force.   Dragons fleeing from the gryphon warriors reported about the wild and ruthless vulture-gryphon with supernatural powers. Unrest and anti-gryphon tendencies within the kingdom grew, forcing all visiting civilian gryphons and nobles to start moving their gryphon pets to the east.

    Battle of Strongwield
    Military action

Forces commanded by Yriinth's Second Clawmaster, Vraeth engaged in the expedition forces of Night Hawks (Leaderless). Strongwield was an outpost abandoned by Air dragons prior to the arrival of the gryphon expedition forces, only to join in with reinforcements lead by Vraeth, victoriously retaking the towers and surrounding area for Air Kingdom.   Vraeth's forces suffered 2 losses and 13 injuries. Night Hawks lost 19 Clawstoppers and 2 non-combatants. 20 gryphons have been injured, 8 of which were taken captive.   Retaking Strongwield slowed down the possible expansion of Falth's warband, setting up a wedge within the territory held by Night Hawks. Falth underestimated the swiftness of retaliation from his enemy, because of this loss, he was forced to either try and retake the now reinforced Strongwield again, or risk getting flanked should he try to invade further west or east.

    Gathering / Conference

Unarmed and alone, Falth travelled through the cold mountains of the Air dragon lands, most of which he has been fighting over the past two months. Seeing his troops decimated morale, the lack of provisions through the cold Freezan and hopeless stagnation in his conquest, the leader of the Night Hawks set out to attempt and establish a truce with his sworn enemy.
