Gaar
"Behold, infidels, and tremble!
Behold, the Cerberus!
His ruthless spear,
his will absolute!
He is here to lead the strong against the weak.
It is your divine right to seize whatever you desire,
from those who lack the power to keep it.
You must prove your worth in battle,
let none stand in your way,
and you will leave none alive.
You are the mightiest,
you are above,
and let the weak and unworthy kneel to your presence."
Gaar (also known as "the Cerberus") is one of the prime deities in the Eldar pantheon. He is recognized as the god of conquest, destruction, vengeance, greed and ignorance.
Divine Domains
War.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
Gaar's primary symbol is that of a "trojan" shield, painted red with a grey streak through the middle and a bronze cerberus at its centre. Red represents gore; the brutality of war. Grey represents steel; a cutting blade. The cerberus represents wrath, fury and ferality.
Tenets of Faith
Gaar fuels his followers with pride and will for conquest. He encourages them to seek out war, take what they please and leave behind a trail of destruction. In order to gain his favour, a strong warrior culture is also required. That refers to things such as mandatory military service, colosseums, trials by combat, etc. Those who he deems worthy are promised an afterlife of glory, fighting by his side in the Nether War.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
Gaar's ultimate goal is to defeat the other Nether gods and then wage war against Hera.
