Chupacabra
Chupacabras are a little-understood species that appeared off coastal islands in Nipacian Archipelago a couple decades ago and have quickly spread to other parts of the world. They are characterized by a triangular bite pattern, blood sucking, and a blend of mammalian and reptilian characteristics, and a hopping mode of movement. They are cowardly creatures, for the most part, hiding until they
Nocturnal creatures, they can lean more towards reptilians or more towards mammals. Some are completely quadrupedal, while some are partially upright. The most common variant is shaped vaguely like a wild dog, but with leathery or scaly greenish-gray skin and sharp spines or quills running down a prominent spinal ridge. This form is mostly hairless, with pronounced eye sockets, fangs, and claws.

Basic Information
Dietary Needs and Habits
Chupacabras are hematophages, subsisting mostly or completely on blood. They are voracious drinkers, draining each victim dry before moving onto the next one.
Biological Cycle
No juvenile examples have been found. Their lifecycle is purely speculative. Chupacabras appear to be solitary. They’re not known to breed, so there’s speculation that an entity is purposely creating chupacabras for unknown reasons.
