Age of Heroes
Cielida and Llauvo lay together again, and birthed their youngest, Lunecue , the wise child. Another god joined them, walking across the firmament of the universe, scattering stars and worlds in their wake. They were the Extrajeles, the star people, the god-in-the-multitude.
Extranjes gathered up those who had chosen to embrace weakness and brought them to the new world. They taught them to use tools and build shelter. Lunecue taught them to live in communities, to work together, to nurture and protect the most vulnerable.
The people learned that there were no absolutes, no strength without weakness, no light without dark, no joy without sadness, no future without the past. We, their descendants, now live and work together in this new world. Our grandparents’ grandparents put their faith in the gods that their sacrifice would bring a better existence, and we honor them by remembering the lessons they learned. We remember to care for others in their weakness because we know we be weak in turn.
This is our world, the fourth world. A world of vulnerability and heroism, of life and death, of pain and joy. The fourth world, the Mixed World. Mezclandia.
