Healing Spa

The Gret Consolidation is populated with over half its population from the Grettin , who love bathing. The healing spas are one of the most obvious example of this. While often seen as just a spa by other races, the soaking mixtures help maintain good health in this species. Additionally spas provide most common medical treatments seen elsewhere in clinics or hospitals, and are overseen be medics, nurses pharmacologists, and doctors.
The typical spa contains cold mineral baths, hot mud baths, drip saunas, biomedical gel baths and swimming pools of at least four different temperatures. Private bathing rooms can be rented and furnished with custom treatment plans by the pharmacologists and doctors. Some offer Biomedical Synthetic Flesh treatments and more advanced surgeries.
The common etiquette is to bath naked in mixed company, though the Grettin are aware some species and cultures find this distasteful. Sexual behavior in the spas is considered horrendously distasteful and an affront to propriety and may outright anger some to violence. Some medical spas cater the needs of such foreigners by having time separated baths or smaller duplicate areas.

Many famous medical spas will have specific services unique or nearly unique to their location. Here are some of the more interesting.
Gullin Vir located in Humi on Gret Kul: This spa is famous for it's animal treatments; such as the Tunnin Slime eel baths and the skin manicuring Binnil fish baths.
The Black Hole located adjacent to the main spaceport on Dewl: Catering to a wide variety of species and as a tourist destination. It has the entertaining slime baths of Ghul which are an opaque non-newtonian fluid bath, as well as the mineral fog baths of Dabor. It also specializes in medial tourism with a full suite of synthetic flesh treatments being offered.
