Merillia

On the surface, Merillia is a stereotypical fantasy world. Fairies and elves dwell in the woods, mermaids inhabit the waters, dragons soar overhead and monsters lurk in the night. Mages study at schools of the magical arts, while alchemists create subtle brews.   But the heroes of this land seem familiar from another setting. They travel in disguise, in strange names and stranger costumes. They gain unusual powers from a variety of sources--creatures, training, their own inventions, or odd compounds. They defend the weak against villains with their own bizarre powers. The conflicts between good and evil here… are super.   So what is this place? Is it fantasy or is it superhero? It's both. It's a blending of genres and tropes into a fluid whole. I hope you enjoy your stay.
