Goddities
It's not entirely clear that goddities and angels belong together, but most Christians and some other religions believe them to be somehow related. Goddities, like angels are often considered to be "spiritual" beings rather than magical ones. Maybe. Actually this is even more controversial than the classification of angels as spiritual.
Goddities (a term used only by the most irreverent of scholars) are spiritual beings that desire worship. They usually claim to be gods, or something like that, and some assume the name of gods from previously-defunct mythologies. They take many forms, according to their assumed role. Christians, especially, regard them as most likely demonic, but as with angels there's no direct evidence of this (although some of them do claim to be demons).
Some scholars have argued that goddities are actually a colony of mutually-dependent angelic beings, something like a man-o-war. This is still a pretty fringe view.
All in all, while their devotees are many, goddities are dangerous and should not be approached. Especially not if you are a convinced atheist or zealous member of a rival religion.
It should be noted that although there is a vibrant Cult of the Honored Phoenix, the Phoenix is most likely not a goddity. He/she/it* evinces no desire for worship and seems more magical than spiritual in nature.
*The Phoenix changes sex throughout its life cycle; born neuter, it becomes male at maturity, then female when it is ready to lay its egg, self-immolate, and restart the cycle.
