Naesala is the younger sister of the Duke Elamenor Venramoir, and one of the more unconventional members of the Venramoir family. She has been less interested in matters of court and more drawn to study, making her a bit of a lone wolf and very independent woman. She hasn't really shown any interest to marry to continue the family line but rather has drowned herself in her own studies.

Despite her unusual-for-court-quirks, she is well-liked by and often advising her older brother, and has good relations with her close family. She has taken a special interest in her niece Ilyran and Ilyran's academic pursuits by encouraging her and offering her learning material.
