Ilphinidia Pridescar
Professor Ilphinidia Pridescar (a.k.a. "Ilphy" or "Ilphie")
Ilphinidia Pridescar was the first drow elf employed by the Numen Hoop University and her presence still causes some ruckus. This tall and confident lady reminds many of the femme fatale and doesn't strike as a person one would first consider when thinking of an academic theologist. By her skill set, Ilphinidia would be considered as a Paladin of Eilistraee.
While her mixed lineage is not secret, Ilphy is often confused to be a descendant of a drow and a wood elf, thanks to her striking green eyes. However, many are shocked to learn that her father was Islenorian high elf, by the name of Ninthalor Elawynn. This mixed heritage is often hushed down do the explosive political climate of the Silver Shore Island.
In the game, Ilphinidia was first introduced to Kerymis Donaevel, whom she has started to form a peculiar friendship with. After Kerymis' sudden call to serve the Dark Dancer, Ilphinidia has taken more mentor-like role to her new friend, who's peculiarities are causing her some confusion and frusturations. She has since received a revelation to follow Kerymis to his quest to the Underdark.
Ilphy has also been in contact with Elflings, and has promised to aid in the quest to help Patch to get rid of her curse.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Both tall and athletic, Ilphinidia is an opponent to behold. Her love of dancing and sports make her fit and strong. Combined with her apparent femininity, the mix seems deadly and dangerous. It is no wonder why many men find her intimidating to approach, regardless of their race.
Body Features
Ilphinidia is staggering 190 cm (~6'2") tall, she has an athletic build, iron-grey skin, and platinum blond hair. Her eyes are vivid spring green, which sets her apart from other Drow. As she has an admirable hourglass figure and provocative fashion sense, her presence is hard to miss. She has long legs, athletic build and stride that challenges anyone that dares gaze upon her.

With her devotion to Eilistraee, Ilphinidia has a series of powers typical to a Paladin.

When possible, Ilphinidia tends to dress provocatively. She has long legs and full bosom, and she likes to emphasise those features whenever possible. She loves long dresses with a clear cut on the side to show off her long and muscular legs, as well as to make clear she could just kick anyone down if she really needs to.

Personal history
On the 16th of Feb, in year 3704, Ilphinidia was born to Brizae'diira Pridescar. She was the third of three children. By the time of her birth, her sister Iimiira Pridescar had already perished. She was born in the makeshift temple in the Moon Terrace sewer system, during the rule of Empire of Islenor; time where drow were not taken kindly by the city folk.
Early lifeGrowing up below the streets of Moon Terrace was a difficult experience. Brizae'diira had decided to stay in the city due to her vows to her goddess Eilistraee and take care of those who were too scared to search help elsewhere. She thought her daughters to be brave and careful, as they needed to grown-up early due to their harsh environment. Ilphie's sister Illiamonia was particularly protective of her half-blooded little sister, traumatized by the loss of the middle sister.
In the sewers Ilphinidia learned to be resourceful, observant and sensitive to her words and actions, knowing full well she would get hurt if she would make any wrong moves. But she also learned to be curious, religious, and she developed a particularly strong sense of justice.
As a young drow girl, she got often targeted by peoples suspicions and anger, as they were scared of what she would grow up to be. People often forgot they were dealing with just a child, just shunning her by her skin colour. She was often afraid, but she learned something best defence to stay safe is actually fake you are scarier than the others, and they do not dare to touch you. As she grew tall, she drew comfort of her size and intimidating appearance.
Ilphy's relationship to her father was particularly complicated one, specially on those younger years. On the one hand, she was keen on her eccentric and loving father who adored her, but at the same time sour that he wouldn't stay with them; she would also struggle with her unusual combination of cultural heritage. Someday she would wish she could be pale like her father and walk among the sun, pondering if the Drow indeed had deserved their punishment. Other days she would be resentful of her Islenorian heritage, blaming the plagues of her mother's people to her father and the empire. It was a complicated inner conflict that caused her a lot of anxiety and self-hatred.

Intellectual Characteristics
Ilphy has an air of dangerous temptress, but she is actually quite witty and laidback individual. She works hard and is empathetic to a fault, with a great passion towards any all of her interests, which she has many. She is curious to learn and interact with people, being a very compassionate person under the sultry facade.

Morality & Philosophy
Defeating injustice and protecting those who cannot protect themselves are values that Ilphy adopted on a very early age, and she has stuck with them on a shape or another for her whole life. Ilphinidia demands respect of others from others as well as from herself, and her wrath can be terrifying to face. But her friendship and kindness are something to treasure.

Motivation
Bringing justice and sharing her passion towards cultures and hope to help people to connect with one another are things close to Ilphinidia's heart. Coming from a harsh background has made her intellectually curious and adamant to right any wrongs she might face while making, hopefully, life nicer to everyone. She believes that all people can grow and become better versions of themselves if they are ready to listen to one another.

Ilphinidia is a paladin of Eilistraee and was raised to worship the goddess ever since she was born. Her connection to the goddess was forged when she was still a girl. Her first experience of the Goddesses presence happened when she was merely 15 years old.
