Ant'gloth Frozenheart
The First Keeper of Secrets, Lord Ant'gloth Frozenheart
Ant'gloth Frozenheart is remembered as a one the important first links that brought the drows of Mori'tarna together with the surface living folks of Silver Shore Island. He was a Conjurer Wizard born to drow elite, who left Underdark and together with Kelfir Windwhisper and Yodira Pyrocrystal founded the Silver Shore Academy of Magi.
While a respected academic, Ant'gloth was often considered to be balancing the line between genius and insanity. His lust for knowledge, his obsession for magical object both light and dark, his multiple explorations to both Conjuration and Necromancy made him feel like a menacing figure for many. But at the same time, he was well known for his altruistic nature and incredible skill.

Personal history
Ant'gloth Hun'sekathani was born during a stormy time of his people's history: after The Cracking, formerly llothian drows of the Mori'tarna had started to follow the Faith of Children of The Dancer. Mostly, that is, since some of the old guard still stood in the defence of the old ways and the Spiderqueen. This, inconveniently, included Ant'gloth's grandmother Dellynxae Hun'sekathani.
Ant'gloth's mother Bauthdril ended up turning against her mother and aligned herself with the rising new establishment, separating her from the main branch of the family. She established her own house, the Frozenhearts, and young Ant'gloth would gain his mother's house name with her. After Dellynxae's fall, the estate of House Hun'sekathani, Xar'zith Kyorl, fell in Bauthdril's possession.
To ensure her family's future, Bauthdril did her best to fix her family's previous gnarly reputation, by making grand gestures towards the Faith of Children of The Dancer. This included attempts to trying purge old Llothian items, memorabilia and writings that family owned, to show their devotion and commitment to the new order.
While Bauthdril's intentions were (at least some-what) noble, there was pushback towards her actions, if only quietly. House Hun'sekathani had an impressive collection of items and tomes about undead and fiends, and massive libraries of arcane knowledge, all of which were now up to the pyre, slowly but surely. And young Ant'gloth, who with his own eyes witnessed how dangerous some of these relics were to destroy, and would also see how the family suddenly became weaker against threats looming in Undendark for destroying the information so they could have used against those nightmares found himself in opposition of the sudden urge to break all the Llothian heritage out of fear.
This brought Ant'gloth to a great conundrum. He had no intention to go against the new regime, under which he would be seen as a person and not just as a bit better than a common slave, but the idea of preserving the remnants of the old regime was seen as an act of defiance. However, the young wizard's curiosity and neurotic worry of the rise of past evils inspired him to start and hide anything and everything relating to Llothian culture, in an attempt to preserve it. He was not alone in this; it has been suggested that Ant'gloth worked with several like-minded individuals, who would help him in this endeavour for the rest of his life, only in shadows for their own safety.

Mental Trauma
Poor Ant'gloth spent his early childhood in fear of his grandmother, who was desperately and ruthlessly clinging to the Llothian heritage, and the cruel ways of the Spiderqueen. Even after his grandmother was gone, Ant'gloth lived in a world he had to be afraid of getting killed by people who doubted his mother's loyalty to the Faith of Children of The Dancer, or by remaining Llothian fringe groups that saw his mother as a traitor to her kind. Adding this to other pressures of the time and his secret collection, Ant'gloth grew to become naturally paranoid, anxious, neurotic and prone to obsessive, compulsory behaviours, which at times would be crippling.
Ant'gloth managed his anxieties with varied success and could spend weeks at a time without exiting spaces that he felt somewhat safe in, or obsessively working on things unable of taking breaks. His contemporaries have often described Ant'gloth like he was two different people; there was stiff, ominous, cold and reserved Ant'gloth who barely muttered and mumbled with his eyes wide as plates, constantly looking over his shoulders like he was seeing ghosts. Then there was the other, friendlier Ant'gloth, who was a natural genius, full of ideas and always babbling, ready to jump on any project and to help those in need.
"Personally, I think the 'Frozenheart'-thing is really misleading. It's the shell of Antzy that is frozen, if you ask me: his heart it is more like very mushy warm cheese."
It is his neuroses that most of Ant'gloth's friends really attributed his sudden passing to. He was in an obsession mode while his accident happened, which many attribute his carelessness to.
