Allie's Bread & Bakery is considered the best bakery in Moon Terrace, known specially from their delicious cinnamon buns. It is located in middle of Merchant Avenue, right in the corner where Magi District starts.
Purpose / Function
Known as the finest and most popular Bakery in the city, Allie's Bread & Bakery is blessed with a central location and has goods with most top-notch quality. Hundreds of customers get here their daily bread, fine cakes, made-for-order goodies, and tasty cookies. Customers can enjoy the friendly customer service and deliciousness of the baked goods, with possible words about the daily news.
The upstairs of the shop also works as home for Allie's family; her husband professor Dezzner Shadowblade and their 2 sons that occasionally work around the bakery.
Entries
The Bakery has one main entrance to the shopfront, as well as a back door to a small, private backyard. The main door opens to the possibly busiest street corner in the entire city, while the backyard is at the end of the rather tight alleyway.
Denizens
As stated, Allie's Bread and Bakery isn't only a storefront, but also a home. You often find Allie Jonder herself behind the counter, and it isn't unusual to see her sons, Zato and Oku helping her out.
While not usually helping out with the bakery, Allie's husband, professor Dezzner Shadowblade and Darling, their adoptive daughter, are very much part of the family and live in the building, though Darling is seen very rarely these days. Also Eler Splintwood is a frequent guest in the house.
Contents & Furnishings
For a casual visitor, the Bakery is simply the most charming and homely little nook. The rooms have functional, charming furnishing and even a bit rustic look to them. However, the observant eye might pick out a few odd mementos, and some surprisingly well-picked details that tell that maybe the look of the house has more to do with well-decided image than just haphazardly picked things. It's like the it's more than a home - like a vision of a perfect nest for some most peculiar individuals.
Architecture
The building has two floors; shopfront and the living quarters, with added small attic space and the cellars. The walls have a stone exterior, with a more homely wooden interior and some wooden detailing outside mostly for aesthetic purposes. The roof is covered with red tiles. The walls are thick and the windows double classed to make sure noise doesn't get in or out of the building, typical for many buildings in Moon Terrace, especially on the busier side of the city.
Rooms have wooden floors, and the room size is more on the small and cozy side than massive or expansive.
