The Iron Bank (English)

If it involves money, the idea of money, or any exchange of wealth I would bet their hands are on it, then pay the taxes for my prize money to them." -MiriThe Iron Bank, also known as The Bank of Iron Scales, is a financial institution located within the capital city of the Shalin Isles, Vlard. Their symbols is a iron scale with gold coins on one side and jewels in the other. They are the most powerful financial institution in the known world as their cliental even extends into the other Planes of Existence. If there is a deal in a form of circulated currency, the Iron Bank has likely had their hands involved at some point in the transaction. They are known for their skills in deal making and contracts, going as far in some cases to even borrow a Pact Devil to bind souls into their larger and more profitable contracts. This practice is frowned upon by almost every church but with The Bank being such a corner stone of society, there isn't much that can be done as long as its done behind closed doors.
History
The history of The Iron Bank like most things is muddled. It is unclear when The Iron Bank began operations but the conclusion historians have reached is that The Banks name came from a group of Iron Dragons forming together to bring wealth and profit across the land, so long as they could line their own hordes of course. Rather then take gold in the short by raiding, they chose to make gold in the long term and extend their life expectancy but becoming fundamentals in society. Since their founding, they have continued to grow and prosper. Founding governments, single handedly turning the tide of wars, expanding to regions long since forgotten, and monopolizing on banking systems by bringing in lesser financial institutions when they become large enough to start taking some customers away from them. A requirement in most places to be considered a city is to have a branch of the Iron Bank present. There has only ever been one successful heist from the Bank of Vlard, committed in 50AD. Who committed it is still unknown but official documentation credits the heist to "The Whisper" and claims this individual a chosen of Vol.
