Hemlik is a young man who fled The Fade, his country of Elliptica welcoming him and other refugees home with open arms, despite the weight it put on their resources. When his country did nothing to help the refugees of a nearby country who had no choice but to flee and put themselves at the mercy of the far less welcoming Southern State of Adalant, he rallied his own small army and began a campaign to create a pathway away from Adalant into safety for the Fade’s refugees forced southwest.
