Mazhim-Okhul
Geography
The planet has a circumference of roughly 29,500 square kilometers, making it a little under three quarters the size of Earth. The planet is about 55-60% water, and only roughly a tenth of that (so ~5% of the planet) is potable freshwater. It is divided into two major continental landmasses, Eyris and Piovale, and three lesser landmasses, Dachtus, Scalora, and Rezhin, alongside a host of small island chains and inlets.
There are ten mountain ranges in the setting: four in Piovale, three in Eyris, two in Scalora and one in Rezhin. The longest one is the Great Bifurcator Chain that cuts the Piovale continent in half halting most travel save through mysteriously fashioned service and shipping tunnels through the mountains and the relatively tamer foothills at the far north and south ends of the chain. The tallest mountain chain is the Rezhin Spires, the only mountain chain in the continent of Rezhin.
Only 8% of the treadable earth is covered with desert, a thin strip across Eyris known as the Cat's Eye Badlands and a large patch of uninhabitable desert surrounded by methane boglands in the southwest corner of Piovale known as the Churning Desert, due to it nearing a churning series of clashing ocean currents thrust upon each other by underground volcanic vents (which is also the reason for the desert). Equally, only 16% of the treadable earth is covered with any glacier, tundra, or boreal biomes to the far northern fringes of Scalora and the frigid northern parts of Eyris. The rest is split by about 20% mountainous regions, 26% forests and jungles, 30% plains.
The weather is generally passive and the only cyclical activity is through massive hurricanes on the iciest, northernmost stretches of ocean north of Scalora and the northern edge of any other continent due to warm fronts constantly moving upwards to meet the arctic winds. Otherwise, there is only rain, wind, and thunderstorms when it's not clear and sunny.
There is some volcanic activity, especially with oceanic volcanic vents which make travelling from one land mass to another very difficult if not for the several partly-submerged land bridges acting as easily traversible straits between the lands. However, some of the land mountain chains have volcanic activity: particularly the Rezhin Spires is made up almost exclusively of open caldera volcanoes, and one of the four mountain chains in Piovale and two of Eyris's mountain chains boast a sparse handful of volcanoes each. The tectonic plates are usually defined by where the most catastrophic weather patterns are.
Fauna & Flora
The flora in the world of Mazhim-Okhul is fairly homogenized throughout; however, each of the landmasses hold different interesting flora as well and the fauna, while similar to Earth's, is generally morphed in some way due to the more peaceful conditions, lighter gravity, and differences in air pressure. This is learned to be because the planet was terraformed, but forced evolution caused differences with the creatures that were brought to the world, as well as plants and minerals.
Many small creatures, such as squirrels, cats, and mice, have adapted fully apposable wings due to the lighter gravity. Certain reptiles and amphibians have increased immeasurably with size, and with the addition of technological impacts on the planet have given rise to the planet's iteration of dragons. Deer, stags, elk, ibexes, rams, and sheep have adapted long legs and tubular, sinewy bodies. There are also a handful of animal-man species which live in the far-flung fringes of the world: these include chameleon men, tiger men, frog men, and rhinoceros men (also known as ogres). These were a result of genetic cross-breeding and gene therapy and were sent to the planet to live out their days. There are, in additions, some strange monsters that the magical systems of the Three Powers cannot account for: for instance, the teleporting powers of the Beak Dogs which are commonly thought of to be due to the abundance of teleportation technology having an impact on the development of the common Doberman breed of dog; or, perhaps, the hungry head, cyclopic predators with prehensile hairlike appendages that blend into the environment as clumps of rock or dirt and swing around by use of their tentacles to devour or embalm beings several times their size.
There are, in addition to strange fauna, strange flora, such as the giant mushroom forests, multicolored trees, people-shaped statue gardens in a calcifying atmosphere, a field of mirror-like ground, upwards-climbing waterfalls, and other odd phenomena, but these can all be attributed to the way in which the terraforming worked or the influence of the Three Powers on the planet.
Natural Resources
The air is ripe with carbon, oxygen, nitrogen, and small amounts of barium and non-lethal levels of both radon and strontium which come from radioactive deposits found within the mountain ranges and within lands known to those who live within Mazhim-Okhul as "The Dead Lands" due to the high radioactive readings. The waters in certain oceans have a high sulfur and phosphorus content, while arctic oceans, seas away from volcanic vents, and freshwater lakes have almost no non-H2O additives save basic levels of nitrogen.
The trees are generally Earthlike, such as maple, spruce, fir, birch, and redwood trees in the more temparate climates, weeping willows and fat bog trees taking up the swamplike areas near volcanic climates, and others, but there's also unique tree species that haven't been previously discovered.
Inside the earth is a plethora of iron, cobalt, copper, uranium, and certain precious gemstones like aquamarines and topazes primarily.
