Aberidus Island

Aberidus Island is a small rocky island set in the mouth of The Great Bay. It measures roughly a tenth of a kilometre in diameter at it's widest point.
Situated on the top of Aberidus Island is a tall lighthouse and 2 bedroom house that housed the lighthouse keeper. Despite having been abandoned for over 7 centuries, both structures are in apparently perfect condition, and the automated lighthouse still functions a millennia after it was installed.
Despite The World Council officially having placed a ban on anybody travelling there, unusual occurrences have been reported there ranging from flashes of light and strange sounds to strange moving patches of bubbles.

Purpose / Function

The structures on Aberidus Island were constructed to serve as a guide to warn sailors away from crashing into the rocky mass.
