The All-Child
"All the tears have been shed, all sweat has been spent, all blood has been spilt. It is finished."The All-Child is a a figure in Oumai religion who is said to represent the culmination of the centuries of devotion of the Oumai people.
Summary
It is believed that the All-Child will be divinely conceived upon the completion of the final Offering of Tears ceremony. The year following the ceremony will be one of great hardship, natural disasters, invasion from outsiders, and multiple solar eclipses, but on the one year anniversary of the ceremony, all Oumai women will go through labor pains until the All-Child arises from the center of Biim Lake riding atop a winged serpent and wielding a silver bow. The All-Child will then shout with a loud voice to summon the Oumai to the lake, where they will bathe in its waters and no longer experience hunger, thirst, pain, or death. The All-Child will then lead the now invincible Oumai to cleanse the world of the unfaithful. The war to cleanse the world will be long and bloody, even with the inability to die or feel pain, the Oumai are said to struggle in their final trial, but ultimately will prevail. Following their final victory, the Oumai will return to Biim lake and wash themselves once more in its waters where Zisha will come, along with her sister Bura and brother Shedras and will grant final salvation to the Oumai and the world. What this final salvation entails is not agreed on and ranges from ascension to divinity to the world being transformed to a paradise and the Oumai left to live on it.
