Clairvoyant Stylography

"The postal service in the Sheb realm exists only for the merchants and those shipping packages. All documents the imperial court concerns itself with are delivered in a different way."~Modern Magics
Clairvoyant stylography allows scribes to utilize specialized parchment, ink, and pens to write messages remotely across theoretically unlimited distance. This instantaneous communication tool allows the Amun Dynasty to remain a remarkably centralized state despite its vast territory, with regions having very little in the way of autonomy and the central government being well aware of localized problems weeks before they could have been if they relied on messenger birds or riders. The tools and methods used to achieve clairvoyant stylography are a state secret and is limited only to government officials with appropriate station.

Utility

Clairvoyant stylography is used as a means of quick and accurate communication across great distance by members of the imperial government of the Amun Dynasty. It is used to convey information from census data to tax reports to correspondence without having to rely on messengers or deal with delay.
Access & Availability
Use of clairvoyant stylography is generally limited to the person and scribes of regional governors, generals, and anyone else the imperial court deems it important to have instant communication with.
Complexity
The manufacturing process for the tools used in clairvoyant stylography is unknown but is likely complex as nobody outside of the imperial government has managed to recreate the process successfully. The use of the technology on the other hand is as simple as using the specialized parchment, ink, and pen to write. The transfer itself appears to happen on its own.
Discovery
Clairvoyant stylography has mysterious origins and it is unknown exactly how it originated. The technology only came to common awareness in the year 501 but it was utilized for an unknown length of time prior to that, possibly hundreds or even thousands of years.
