Asperasagus

The asperasagus is a type of vegetable that has a shape resembling a stick with a spearhead-like shape at the top. It has a chewy texture while raw, but a crunchy one when cooked. In terms of nutrition, the asperasagus has large quantities of vitamins A and B, as well as trace amounts of protein. Asperasagus resembles a bush when over grown, and is harvested by cutting the bush at the base, near the ground. The plant is also able to grow back after harvest, so long is enough of the base stem is left to allow absorption of sunlight.
