Race - Dwarf
Race - [74 pts]
This silicone based race is known for their ability to burrow. Their bodies are made entirely of stone and, with some difficulty, can be rearranged to other basic forms. By default they take on a crystalline amorphous form, but they add arms and legs early on in life to make movement easier. They're also fond of building ships out of junk, and get along with Goblins quite well for this reason. Technically, they aren't as far along technologically as the rest of the galaxy, but they seamlessly integrate technologies thought to be impossible to merge. Their vessels look like patchworks out of hell, but they fly alright and tend to hold together long enough to get them to where they're going.Rules
Basic Information
Anatomy
Amorphous, but can hold any shape they put on. Often, they'll appear as small stony humanoids.
Genetics and Reproduction
Reproduction takes place through crystalline dust which germinates similarly to pollen. When released from a Dwarf, it flows through the air as a fine dust and, given the right minerals and sister 'spores', will begin to mutate into a Crystal Res.
Growth Rate & Stages
Stage 1: Crystal Res. These appear to be small roughly spherical gems. The gems color will eventually become the color of the creatures eyes. They will have two colors present in rough bands; one thicker, one thinner.
Stage 2: Pupa. The body forms next like a root beneath the ground. The local stone deposits will determine the primary 'skin tone' of the creature.
Stage 3: Unearthing. The creature will next tunnel its way out of the ground and to the surface. It will then form arms and legs over the next year to maneuver.
