The Droganian Hero

Waewar Hoer, a great hero and inspiration in Mapeal. He was blessed with the power of War, a Warsele. Usually, the birth of a Warsele denoted there was an important quest that needed to be fulfilled. A Quest, a once in a lifetime opportunity to prove ones self by coming back victorious from the quest. Waewar's quest was saving the Core of Golath, the core which helped sustain the balance of Mapeal. Having nothing but his Gift and and the well known Doraganian sword, a sword he forged himself for this particular quest. He is said to be the only person who could bend all the gifts to his will. His Droganian Sword, forged with the help of Stygian Steel and melted and shaped by the heat of the Illuminae.

Waewar succeeded in his quest, vanquishing several kinds of monstrous animals and gained the blessing of several creatures too. It is said that he also got the blessing of the Peonix, an extremely rare occurrence. Saving the Core of Golath was never and easy task, he knew the risks that he was undergoing and the wear and tear he was imposing on his body.

Saving the Core of Golath

It is said that when he reached the place of the core, Waewar had to plunge into the river of Salve, get a shell and place it at the base of the Core of Golath, which is rumored to be in the form of a tree .He placed the shell, which was a conch and with a final prayer, he did what he had to.

Nobody, including Waewar himself knows what he did with the Shell from Salve to save the core.But it was said that when the core was saved it was like time itself had stopped to commemorate to mending of the Core of Golath.

For saving every core a sacrifice was demanded, here for Waewar that sacrifice that was demanded was his memory, he would only be given selected memeory of the perilous journey he had been through. All of his memory would slowly come back to him only if it was deemed to be useful at some desperate point and only for the use of Mapeal. He somehow made it home, drenched in sweat and rain but he did it , he saved the Core.

Victorious Return

He made it back home, stumbling all the way. He was given a lift by one of the people from town. He didn't step out of his house for a week, people were worried but they let him be but still helped him with clothes and food. After around a week, he came out all simply dressed and spoke the same way he used to. But, everyone could see that he looked visibly stronger and healthier after his quest. He told them about his journey, well whatever he remembered of it and his arrival is celebrated all over Mapeal as The Dragonia festival, celebrated for a week with huge festivities. The story of his journey and the return is told even today in Mapeal he is the hero everyone longs to be . Saving a Core is not easy, especially when it demands a different sacrifice every time, there is a cost to be paid.

The Mystery

The people wanted to hail their hero along with the Sword which was forged by a single person with many Gifts. But when Waewar was questioned about the sword, he simply told the people of Mapeal that the sword would turn up when it should.  Thus the Legend of the Missing Dragonian Sword was born.

He was 20 years old when he finished his Quest. When he disappeared he was around 32 years old.

Circumstances of Birth

Waewar's birth was normal. What wasn't expected was that he would be blessed with the gift of War.

Circumstances of Death

Waewar's death was not actually accounted. He would often travel after his quest for long periods of time. After he didn't return from his last expedition, people of Mapeal assumed him dead.
