River of the Gods
The River of the Gods or the Diamonds River (like the Milky Way), is a long lines of bright stars that the Krellnik, Panath and Hrudruupa see as a river. They worship it's existence and pray to it. In their eyes the river is the reason why Gods can exist. In old tongue its called the river of life. It's also the final way a soul can travel when someone leaves the physical body. The soul travels to the great waterfall to be judged by the Gods. (they do not see it as, nor know it as death. The body is just a growing vessel to nurture the soul.)
The Krellnik worship all headwaters as sacred places, as they believe that it are the birthplaces of live. The Diamond River, or River of the Gods is untouchable for humans and only intended for Gods. (there are a few legends and myths about the river)
There is also a more practical aspect to the river:
At specific moments in time the river chimes in certain periods. The river of stars has distinct shapes and contains constellations that can be tracked.
The interpretation of the river, the messages of the gods and their interpretation sometimes result in a war where participants sacrifice each other in name of their prevalent god, to the river. The dispute is always about definitons and meaning of the signs, sights and colors that the river shows. Normally the battles are short and bloody and last mostly a few hours.

Geography
The river touches the horizon, inviting travelers to follow her.
Some have travelled a long time to have never found it's origin. but none have ever found the headwaters. On rare occasion a traveler might return after many years, but fact is that most do not return at all. Note: The Panath claim to have written texts and drawings of the animals and plants related to the river.
Ecosystem
The river is believed to have golden shores and plenty of drink and food. Many animals have a constellation assigned to them and are believed to live near in the air or below in the river.
Ecosystem Cycles
The stars have recognisable patterns and people have a lifecycle based on certain constellations.
Localized Phenomena
Once every planetary rotation (procession of the tides) the Krellnik wait for the rising of the red. The bright red dot always rises at the same location, and signs the arrival of the next great cycle of all the constellations in the river.
History
the river has no time. it has been there for as long as people remember.
Only one hero, the Great Warrior Myamita, female, has been known to travel to the river shores and return. She died at high age and was known for her generosity, skills and love for all people.
For her deeds and strong believes she was able to ascended into the pantheon of the Gods. Her soul a small but exceptional bright dot in the sky, near the constellation of the twin sticks
