Everlast
"Everlast"... its original name replaced in time by the fact that it looks like it stands the decay of time. Build high up on a rock formation and inaccessible for most people without capability of flight it can be seen from a great distance. Many explorers have tried to reach the city over the sand dunes, on expensive ships, well equiped with climbing gear. All of them returning empty handed or not at all.
There is a myth of an deep underground passage but so far no one has ever been able to find the passage.
Demographics
The city seems to be empty, but sometimes movement can bee seen as metal objects fly around in and out of sight.
Defences
The explorers all tell the same story. when you go up the wall and try to climb up the wall becomes impenetrable. no matter how hard you try, excessive force. the rock is just harder than anything we know. This effectively blocks climbing. Suction against the wall has been tried as well with no effect.
Infrastructure
The buildings are build against the side of the rock and seem to reach deep into the sky. Some buildings are like needles.
Tourism
Sometimes a traveller comes to hire passage on an Airfoil Flairboat to see it from a lesser distance.
Architecture
Shimmering reflections and colorfull stones in daytime. During the night patterns of lights can be seen in/on the buildings. Always the same pattern.
Geography
Build in the Sanyak Sea the town is based against or build upon a large rock formation spanning several miles in diameter.
