Midaran Intent to Travel Identification (MITTI)

During the Hexadraconic War during the Steel Revolution Era (third age), in order to prevent spies of the Dragonlords from travelling, the Council of Midara voted to create a required document, called the Midaran Intent to Travel Identification. This document contained the following:
  • Full Name and Identification of an individual.
  • City of residence.
  • Intended city of travel.
  • Travel duration.
  • Reason of travel.
  • Authorizing Praetor.
The document must be authorized and signed by a Praetor, which made travel inaccessible to most citizens. After the Hexadraconic War ended, the MITTI's were continued to be used for identification purposes, but were no longer required for travel. As technology, and the advent of Electricity came to be, the MITTI became modernized, and is now used, not only for identification, but licence and registration information.

Information Physically On a MITTI

  • Full Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Associated Council City
  • Home Address
If the owner of a MITTI is a foreigner, their associated city and home address will be replaced with nationality.

Information Digitally Stored On a MITTI

  • Licence Information (such as Vehicular Licence or Hunting Licence)
  • Owned Vehicles Information with Registration
  • Military Status (Citizen, Active, or Retired with Rank, if applicable)

Foreigners

For visitors to the Council of Midara, there are other documents that are required, primarily the identification of their homeland and a passport.   Upon travel to Midara, they must register and obtain a MITTI. Although domestic citizens no longer require approval from a Praetor, foreigners still require it, as well as intent to travel information, as a MITTI was originally created for.
