Freyir of the Wild

Freyir is the queen of the wild, mistress of the art of hunting, and the nurturer of growth. Many tribes pray to her for good hunts, the strength of their children and the sureness of their paths. Freyir was once an elf who searched eternally for the ultimate prey. She stalked around the known worlds, even ventured to other realms of existence, finding increasingly dangerous opponents to fell. But they were never enough. Eventually she took it upon herself to hunt a god. A god long forgotten, she tracked it across its realm. Eventually she killed it, and took its essence for herself, replacing it as the new god, becoming the God of the Hunt. She took control over the realm and named it her Hunting Grounds; Any mortal who would crave a challenge like she did in her mortal time would gain an invitation to Freiyr's Hunting Realm, and be challenge to the utmost extreme. Mortals rarely re-emerged.
