Dwarven Underground

A crown jewel of intricate creation, the dwarven undergrounds consist of natural caves, either expanded or simply left as is, connected by an innumerable number of bridges and tunnels. Buildings line the walls, the ceiling, and even the pillars that hold up the main city structures. Advanced machinery allow for faster travel in order to more easily reach different hubs of different towns and cities. Gnomes and dwarves work tirelessly every day to have each machinery work, and constantly expand further and further underground. The gnomes and dwarves hold close relationships with the Peacekeepers on the walls, and many dwarves eagerly seek to join, making long treks to Sanctuary to recieve the blessings of Bahamut. The capital, named after the very mountain under which it was built, is home to the grandest and most awe-inspiring of creations, courtesy of gnome and dwarf alike.
Quite a few underground settlements, disconnected from but still associated closely with the Undergrounds themselves, litter the entirety of Malkor.
