Ascalon

Created as the only true Dragonslayer sword, and at the top of the Dragonsbane weapons. Ascalon was forged by Odari personally, and given to the Champion of Valheim. It was made to increase in power in proportion to the power of his foes, which meant that it was little more than a regular sword versus a regular swordsman, but a fearsome blade against even Bahamut and Tiamat.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The blade is said to have been crafted with a metal unique to Valheim, and enchanted with the powers of several gods, though it is disputed which ones. The legends do unanimously agree that Odari forged the balde with his own two hands, however.

Significance

Historically significant, especially to those worshipping Odari.

Rarity

Unique.

Weight

Heavier the less the weight of conscience from killing weighed on the mind of the wielder.
