STATEMENT OF THE GLOBAL HEALTH COUNCIL ON NEW RESEARCH

NEW BRIDGERTON - The past 18 months have seen hundreds of thousands die to the quickly mutating PNDV-1 virus and its variants. After PNDV-1d spread quickly between December 2050 and January 2051, we began an all out effort to try to isolate and treat the virus. The mutations, however, have left us at a loss as to how to get a handle on the virus.   With the discovery of variant 1k, with it's highly contagious nature and rapid replication, we have determined that there needs to be a new effort. We have contracted with the Hemingway Project, an AI machine-learning endeavor, to work to get ahead of the virus. All data we have is being fed to the Hemingway system, and new data is also fed directly.

Hemingway is designed to take in massive volumes of data, characterize it, and make future projections from that data. In our case, we have asked the Hemingway team to take things one step further. We have asked them to use Hemingway to not only predict future vectors, but also determine what might be the best way of preventing those vectors from continuing. If they can determine how the virus will mutate next, a vaccine might be produced to be proactive and prophylactic.

It is our hope that with help from Hemingway, we can get ahead of this virus and avoid the death of hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of citizens globally.
