There are several 'plots' in the kingdomania story. It is divided into four sections. 1) Save princess! 2) Gettin' that booty 3) Bachelor party! 4) Slaying the Ice queen. The underlined titles are names of quests/plot points.

Save princess plot
The royal family is chilling out in the throne room when all of a sudden a group of vicious Yadda Yaddas burst in. Prince king tries to defend his family but, unfortunatley they took Princess, his sister. He is now determined to save her. But he needs help. In Squire for hire he enlists (forces) The great Wizard Bobinskis' apprentice Kai to become his squire. He then goes to the guild where a knight by the name of Blade happily joins him in search for adventure. The three track the Yadda yadda trail to the Farmlands.Gettin' that booty
The islands surrounding Crown snake are prime rel estate up for grabs. Sadly, pirates and Kraken cults took it over. The boys have to figure out how to retrieve enough land to fit their mother (mother in laws) army and a castle for the newlyweds. How will they fight back pirates who are invading the island the army is trying to settle on?Conflict
Save princess plot
In the farmlands they meet a rouge named Pyg who is willing to sneak them into The magic forest . After helping him out in Farmyard tango he sneaks them into the magic forest. There they encounter many magic creatures, walk around in circles for awhile and received Blades blade by the magical lady of the lake. After causing mayhem in the cursed animaloid village, the faries transports the group to Orkbork where the Yadda yaddas are.Gettin' that booty

Save princess plot
They sneak and fight their way through the yadda yadda layer to find princess captured and getting prepared for her marriage to the Ork king. They rescue her and she and blade has some love at first sight. They then sneak her out and end up in magic town. They make their way back to Krown town.Gettin' that booty
Kraken finds a girlfriend and prince kings dumbass tears a hole into the treasure map."How can you find the treasure if there's no X marks the spot?!"
Resolution
Save princess plot
Blade and princess are married, blade reveals his true identity as a hillbilly peasant but is knighted and given joint ownership to the cerulean army. So the boys decide to go get blade some land on his own. Leading to the next plot. Gettin' that booty.Gettin' that booty
The army is finally settled. Now its time to find prince king a wife.Components

As far as caacter development goes...
The characters go around and ends up stumbling into the plot. The thing about Kingdomania is that none of the characters develop. Kai matures and finally says 'no' to prince king. Blade is discovered for being a liar but gains a title anyway making him a lord. Pyg is there. The whole plot is prince king doing whatever he wants and avoiding responsibilities. And it apparent that in the end he still gets what he wants by killing the Ice queen. His selfishness spills over on Sunny in Majikka.Allies
