The Great Flux Barrier

At the edges of the world stand the Great Flux Barrier, an unpenetrable wall of flux.
Noone who walked through the barrier has been known to come back unscathed. It is assumed most people who do cross it simply die from massive flux exposure. The only creatures who crossed the barrier to our world are unspeakable monsters, and local experts tend to agree they're probably the results of mutation from crossing the barrier.

Manifestation

Even to those not sensitive enough to see the flux, the barrier manifests as a wall of red strings tied together. Upon closer inspection, it appears to shimmer. It is not solid, and one can easily walk through it.

Localization

Around the edges of the world; West, North, East and South. Mostly localised at sea, but it manifests in 4 main landmarks.

West of the county of Jitomin, Anissian Impire.

South-West of the Mighty Lands.

East of the region of Joduhan, Agmār.

East of the region of Robsor, Agmār.
