Government

The land is divided into 8 regions. Each year the people elect 40 deputies per region. These 320 deputies form the parliament.
The governor is elected every 4 years by the people. The governor choose the 8 chieftains who manage the regions.
The parliament resides in Narden. They meet with the governor every week to discuss matters of the land. At the end of each month, the chieftains come to the capital to meet with the parliament and the governor.

Religion

Republicans are majorly atheists, but many aspects of their culture can be linked back to the worship of The Only Goddess, Saragana.

Mahar years count 320 days each.
The Anissian calendar (shared by all three Anissian nations) is lunar, divided into 8 months of 40 days. Each month possess four weeks of 10 days, following the phases of the moon, starting with the new moon.

Republicans have an optional gender system. Everyone is ungendered by default, but at any point in life, they can decide to change their gender, which usually denotes a desire to be perceived differently, or to mark a change in their life (or any other reason). This can be solely social or reflected in paperwork (if a change of title or name is needed).
