The Mystery of the Western Mountains of Zurican

The Conflict: nearly two years after the initial peace treaty is signed by the Ukari Kingdoms and the Dwarven Kingdoms some rather strange and mysterious occuirance began happening in the western mountains. With no evidence available at the time many accusations were tossed around causing a conflict that almost destroyed the fresh and budding alliance from the Ukarei and the Dwarven empire.    With the ever-expanding kingdoms, they were showered in a massive amount of wealth as their trade routes into the western mountains and the lands beyond were growing strong and fruitful. Many of the kingdoms to the west were filled with treasures and coin that the Ukari and Dwarven kingdoms were easily able to gather from the exotic trades flowing over the western mountains and into the rest of Magmoia.    The dwarven people and the Ukari peoples have small towns and villages all around the base of the Western Mountains. The mountain range can be rather hazardous and creating any kind of buildings, cities or villages on its slopes would be very very dangerous. During the expansion into the western reaches, some had found that the mountains also held some valuable resources and they Ukari Kingdom seemed to control a vast majority of the new resources.    First issue that happened: The first mystery upon the small towns on the Western mountains was a missing trade cart. A trading cart vanished before it was able to make its checkpoint on the other side of the mountain range in the realm of Keog. When news surfaced of the missing trade cart many of the Ukari citizens blamed the most obvious culprit the jealous and aggressive dwarves who would have had access to the area. Some say they stole the cart and sold the merchandise to the northern kingdoms in Sklavig where the barbaric Dragon Kin Lived and Murdered. As the cart was never found no proof could be gathered on who had committed the crime so the dwarven kingdom was not reprimanded. Although the Ukari never forgot and always doubted them in the back of their minds.   The second conflict that pushed the kingdoms to near war was the destruction and decimation of the peoples and village in the western mountains. The Ukari kingdom had set up a small mining village on the lower slopes of the western mountains in hopes of mining for more valuable stones and minerals. After about 2 successful years of growth and export from the town the Ukari people were beginning to send more villagers to work and labor in the mines. Shortly after the second year of the treaty the entire village was razed to the ground and every civilian was brutally murdered in the streets. This caused a huge uproar as many of the citizens blamed the Dwarves who were jealous of the town's success.    The dwarves were never responsible for the disappearances or murders as the dwarves loved the Ukari People. In all actuality the murder was a race of filthy Kroblins who lived in the mountains to the west.
