Blood Signs & The Missing Ukari Myth in Magmoia | World Anvil

Blood Signs & The Missing Ukari

Conspiracy Theory: Marking has been spotted in, on or around the buildings of Ubducted Ukari Civilians. The Leaders of the houses have said that they mean nothing and provide no information to the common folk.   What are the actual Marks? Smears of Dried blood that are found in the general vicinity of the missing Ukari civilians homestead or last known location.   What do people think that the symbol signifies? They believe it is the mark of the Blood elf snatchers who come in the middle of the night and steal Ukari citizens for their blood magic rituals.   Where did the Conspiracy Start? After a few large blood marks were found at investigations the word got out that marks were left behind and the people spun the accusations so far out that the victims were marked months or years in advance. This prompted many of the civilians to begin checking all around their homes for possible blood marks. None were ever found until after the disappearance.
  • Who has it affected the most? The civilians as no one from then kingdom capitols or from royal blood have been identified as missing as of yet.
  • Effects on the History of the land: The fear of being abducted and tortured at the hands of the vile blood elves to the north has caused many of the Ukari Citizens to live lives they may not have before the stories began to circulate. Many leave torches on through out the night or have members of the family conduct watches on the house so someone is always awake and watching.   How has the conspiracy spiraled from its original theory? Some now believe that instead of actual Blood Elves coming that the unholy demon that they possess will come during the twilight hours to feast on the blood of marked victims leaving a smear of blood when he is finished with the victim he disappears into the night leaving only the mark of blood behind.
